21 jobs cut

CCI Côte d'Or

A downsizing plan, namely consisting of 11 retrenchments, was voted in by Chamber officials from the CCI of Côte-d’Or, in the week of 15 May. Relating to the merger with the CCI of Saône-et-Loire, these job cuts have roused the fury of the CFDT union in particular.

"Scorning the services rendered to enterprises, scorning the regional reality, in the absence of any consultation with the Regional Chamber of Commerce, the region's Prefecture, the Regional Council, the leaders of the CCIT 21 are acting like CAC 40 heads making job cuts governed by stock-market considerations," explains the CFDT in a press release.

The CCI of Côte-d’Or currently employs 120 persons.
